Hello,
We once had NT4 sound drivers (at least the SB16 driver) working under
ReactOS.
But as our current target is a NT5-compatible sound architecture, we dropped
the old NT4 sound driver model from ReactOS. And as far as I know, there is
still much work needed to get NT5 sound drivers working.
It would be the best if you ask Andrew Greenwood (silverblade) on the
#reactos IRC channel about this. He currently implements the sound
architecture.
Best regards,
Colin Finck

Subject: [ros-dev] ReactOS and Sound cards.
Hi,
How much work would it take to support a soundcard in ReactOS?
I would like to use it to help me reverse engineer a sound card to get
it working in Linux.
Kind Regards
James
