If attracting developers is an end goal, It makes sense that they are
working with internals they are used to.
Granted the internal API's of a particular modual may be different, but
the interfaces should be the same.
Like I explained to Alex on the channel. If you want to implement
something thats undocumented then you have to have someone document
it. If you want to implement AFD then have someone else reverse AFD
and publish the spec for it for you to follow. Its as simple as that.
Caspers proposal is very simple. For something to be implemented it must be:
1. Documented
2. Application or driver depends on it.
