the devs get angry because they feel someone overstepped their
authority, even thought the devs tend to give a terse answer with no
explanation. The newbie scared of asking anything else about the
project because folks get so angry with one another, and figures it's
not worth the trouble of getting involved.
I think sometime in the future the community section of the website
will be greatly improved and transformed into a whole ReactOS
Community Portal, thus, hopefully, eliminating such problems. Also I
recently explained my idea about a so-called automated "scoring" or
"points" systems (to a few people only, since it's just a concept
now), so that if someone is providing a good contribution (any way:
testing, bug reporting, patches, commits, wiki articles,
translations), it's going to be reflected in his "score", and such
person would be treated differently and with respect everywhere
throughout the website.
