Well, it contains several points that make reading messages in mailings
lists more readable. Especially:
- Quoting the whole email that you answer to (including headers and
signatures etc) is useless and only wastes traffic and the readers time.
- Writing your message on top of the original might work once, but as
soon as multiple replys are written, everything starts to turn into an
upside down mess.

Lots of useless information here. It's already in the headers if you
really need it. Everyone should know where this stuff came from and to
what it answers. That's what your client should keep track of.

Quotes should start with leading ">" to make it more readable.
