I must say, some impressive work has been done. Tonight i compiled a
bootcd for the first time in quite a while, with the intent of actually
doing some coding, however i ended up tinkering and testing everything
out...The firefox installer hangs, so i decided to copy my firefox
folder over from this box and behold...(yeah i know GvG already posted
a screen, but his had a big black bar in it...that appears to be gone
now?) Anyways, a couple issues: VMWare networking is currently
broken, possibly due to recent SVN commits... Also, some icons in ROS
look rather ugly.
The overall theme in ROS really needs an overhaul. I really think we
should use the KDE theme, or at least a variant of it. Isn't the theme
licensed under GPL or creative commons or something? At any rate, ROS
has come a long way in the past few years...I still remember a windows
3.x style non moveable window on a static background.
