I don't think reactos.org should be an operaating system site. What major Operating System manufacturer uses .org as their domain suffix. Microsoft.com, Apple.com, Redhat.com. Given .ORG should be considered i think sticking with reactos.com would allow users to easily remember. I also think reactos.org should be a community organization site, as well as a developer reference library which would hold everything a novice would need to build or port to reactos. Also it could be a centralized place to hold system compatibility information.
here is another think we could have something like: community.reactos.com be linked to reactos.org. Just an idea. On Aug 24, 2005, at 12:20 PM, Ge van Geldorp wrote:
I was wondering if, together with the launch of the new website, we should switch our "primary" domain from reactos.com to reactos.org? We have control of both domains. An .org domain seems better suited for a open source project. What do you all think?
