Hi,
IMO it's a bad idea to create an ext2 driver installer, and to distribute it for some
reasons. First, there are some other ext2 drivers that are more efficient than our one
(like ext2fsd -
http://www.ext2fsd.com - or ext2 IFS -
http://www.fs-driver.org -). Then,
our driver has been tested but a while ago, and many informations about the context and
the results are missing. Finally, for now driver is breaking when starting in ROS and if
ROS and Windows are really near, it will be the same under Windows. And breaking without
any connected debugger, leads to bugcheck and the system becomes unusable.
And keep in mind that IFS are not a game: they can damage system AND data.
