We've also had what, four or five years for people to fix that assumption.
Though granted it's taken the project I work for almost that long to
implement a final fix.

The concept of session 0 for system and first user logon has always niggled

It would be nice to have a proper session manager (lsm) as per NT6 and
reserve session 0 for system.
I realise this could cause incompatibilities as some applications make
certain assumptions about users running in session 0 for NT5, but I'm sure a
solution can be put built.
