Apart from obvious problems with giving users enough rights to do common tasks, which isn't something I'm terribly worried about in my situation (I'm pretty much the only one who should be doing anything mildly advanced anyway), could you point out something that goes wrong? I'd assume that if an application has its own virtual view of the filesystem and registry (that it could read and potentially modify) that most applications would work reasonably well.
