As Aleksey said, I'll fix the icon problem in the branch not in trunk, as
the fix doesn't really address the root of the problem. (although it's not
actually a hack per se)

If anyone wants to spend some time trying to find the root of the problem,
I'll pitch in on a debugging session.
I'm on holiday from Thurs to Tues though, so if anyone wants to do something
between that time, gimmie a shout before then if you want a quick brief on
where I got to.
