You both are right really. Maybe, what Olaf suggests, is that Bugzilla is not a place for
general application testing database, where we store info about whether a particular app
works or what problems does it have (with references to bug reports), but a place for
keeping track of actual bugs.
Let’s think then where to add that information which Victor said about. I don’t really
want anyone’s work to be a waste of time, so if he tested that app, found a way to
reproduce its bad behaviour, gathered all necessary links, then it should be put
somewhere. For newcomers, for whoever else, I know we are currently overwhelmed with good
bug reports and even with great patches awaiting review (which is the highest priority),
but still.
That’s my opinion on the matter, please no flamewars, you’re great, without all of you our
testing and bugzilla would be very sad places.
WBR,
Aleksey Bragin.

Subject: [ros-dev] Apologies
I am sorry to Vicmarcal for outbursting on ros-dev. The reason for that was yet another
pointless bugreport, after my requestes, passed several times, regarding bug reports
quality.
Sorry, Vicmarcal, as well as those who had to witness it.
Regards
