Jason,

Registry entries won't cause any trouble because the registry hives will 
not be re-created upon an update. Outdated registry settings will be 
deleted and new entries will be added. Therfore we need to add two new 
sections to the hive???.inf files '[AddOnUpdate]' and '[DeleteOnUpdate]'.

Application-specific settings will not be changed at all.
