I don't think we need a separate proxy configuration per application. We should rather keep things consistent and always use the system proxy set in the "Internet Options" control panel applet.
Unless someone has any objections, I suggest reverting this.

I vote for an improvement instead of a revert. We can use the system configured one as a fallback if there are no settings into RAPPS. Kind regards,

I saw many cases @ work where Internet Explorer got a Proxy for some kind of company network and for downloads or real browsing you needed another proxy. Mostly we use Firefox here which uses it’s own proxy settings too. I vote for keeping it.

I didn't know it was that common for Windows apps and there was actually a use case for different proxy settings per application. In this case, I withdraw my suggestion.
