Recenly a new Reddit post came up on #reactos IRC:
https://redd.it/7jj0oa. Interesting stuff.

A person is giving away ~5000 BTC for charitable causes. We can apply
via the website but it must be done by someone from ReactOS e.V.

IF we are given something, it would have to be sold ASAP, imo. I have no
doubt that Bitcoin's price will collapse sooner or later, it's just a
matter of how long people will be stupid enough to keep growing the bubble.

ReactOS Foundation is not an AG either. Non-profits does not have
"angel" investors which want their returns of investments in the pace
they invested.

We have ReactOS Deutschland e.V. as a legally established non-profit
organization in Germany, so we are technically as charitable as the
OpenBSD Foundation.
And we have a Bitcoin account belonging to the project. Details are at
https://reactos.org/donating
