I think we should make an exception for the downloader tool and move it out of rosapps into the main source.
I think the argument for having it in there would exceed the argument against.
Any thoughts?

Though the general rule would be to keep all extra components (those which aren't in a usual "distribution" of a Microsoft Windows) in rosapps, Downloader is our core tool, which actual Windows OS lacks according to thoughts of some people.

I'm not contrary to add it, but I personally find it very uncomfortable to download a thing every time you want to test it (specially when you try different revisions frequently), I just have a secondary hd with the stuff I need to test there...

Windows comes with internet explorer and you can always browse the internet and download what you want, I'm ok with downloader in, it'd let them at least download something... I just proposed an alternative to downloading stuff all the time :)

but yes, its useful, specially for testing in real hardware (im not going to burn a disc only for a couple of KBs)
