Request w/ Bounty

Ok, please don't shoot me if this is 'to large a request' for what im
offering, or to little. But here goes..

World of Warcraft on ReactOS, w/ NVidia Drivers AND guide complete to
logging in and speaking with some NPC's (from what i understand the
latest wine works well with WoW as far as right clicking, correct me
if im wrong)

Beings as i dont know how much work will be involved, what im offering
is a copy of WoW to the DevTeam, (or you can use a 10 day trial free
from Blizzard) and a $50/Bounty upfront. If this amount is to low,
willing to go as far as $150/total, mind you i fall under the
'student' classification.

Other then the mentioned, i would also like windowed mode to work (my
preferred). And i use a NVidia Card.

WoW works with wine 0.9.21+ with opengl rendering, i've used wine 0.9.22 
+ http://bt.daserver.de/wow-patch-0.9.21.patch on linux 2.6.17.x, here 
are some (in-game) screenshots: http://cubeclub.hu/~rs/wow/
My computer is a 2.6 Ghz p4 @ 2.8 ghz, 1 GB of ram and a nvidia 7600gs. 
on windows, i would get 30-40 fps.
I had the same experience (same fps rate) with Cedega and DirectX rendering.

Hi
Getting WoW or any DirectX Games working in reactos is huge step forward.
the basic we do not use wine ddraw, d3dx stuff. We are writing our own
with so call true hw acclection support. At momoemt my time is very limit
to work on any graphic stuff. if we should come some where I need allot
more time to complete the directx hal interface from win32k and gdi32
then fixing our own libarey using it and software version of same api.

U can read my 6 month road plan for ReactOS and I trying follow it
so good I can. but some thing have come in the way so call real life and
need of money. So I am working for money so I can pay rent and get food
and using all my free time fixing varus thing in ReactOS not only directx,
like
trying review patch in bugzila, new translate system for the web, fixing
bsod bugs in the graphic system,
 implement few new api in the graphic sub system and more.

so, in short, the parts are being worked on in a 6 month type plan,
but no guarantee's, would the bounty/donation 'encourage' it a bit
more? or should I just make a regular donation and 'just wait'?

Hey guys,

I should point the potentially helpful news that WoW also has an opengl
mode, which is used by wine. WoW is also a game that you would probably want
to use with sound however.

The problem isn't WoW, it's the Nvidia driver.

I guess, if WoW works with WINE, it won't be a big problem to get it to 
run on ReactOS, but as the Nvidia driver won't work, you will only be 
able to use WoW with OpenGL software rendering, and that'll be very slow...

ReactOS don't use WineHQ's ddraw and d3d (directx) implementation, see below.

... you guessed wrong in both cases.

The nVidia driver worked some months ago, and may still work fine, if
no regression happend. If the driver will work in ReactOS 0.3.1 (or
0.3.2) again (in 0.3.0 opengl was broken), then it should be possible
to use hardware acceleration.
If WoW support OpenGL rendering it may already (ros 0.3.1+) work in
ReactOS. ReactOS is currently lacking an own DirectX 3D
implementation, as we cannot use WineHQ's version for several reasons.

Maybe Magnus has time to answer a bit more detailed, as he is our
DirectX and OpenGL mastermind.
