I hadn't realised this, I've never tried our cmd in Windows.
Does it also have a configurable buffer?

Just restating what I was told by arty last night on IRC:  cmd.exe
doesn't own the window it runs in, csrss does.  our CMD under windows
acts the same as the MS cmd.  you can mark, paste, scroll back, etc..

Maybe an expert will pop up and enlighten us all.

The buffer is hardoce to a fixed size. I did start remove some hardcode
buffers. The answer is no
