Java and Mono

I have been developing a port of Java and Mono for ReactOS. Is anyone  
doing this already???

I do not think it has been done. If you look at the Wiki 0.3.0 is
going to be a stability release. We do not have USB.

If we look at this literally, ReactOS aims to run Mono and Java
natively, without the need for modifications (i.e. 'port').

It would be of more use to run both programs on ReactOS, and identify
where/if the install or operation of the program fails

How does reactos plan on handling java Jars natively? Does a java  
interpreter need to be built into explorer, because I was planning on  
writing a system service called "Java Services" which would always be  
running in the background, then when a jar is launched an application  
window would pop-up, or whatever the jar did... Tell me what you  
think. for now i think java.exe would work fine, i have been doing a  
lot of tweaking and modding of the j2se source to get it to even run.  
I have included some Kaffe in there too...

Yeah, TTF is right, no port needed, otherwise you are defeating the idea 
of ROS.  I dont think ROS is planning to run Jars natively...

I see. Well I am writing an NT compatible version of the j2se  
implementation. Currently I want to be able to have a two-layer  
implementation:
	1 - A system service that allows seamless execution of Java  
applications.
	2 - The actual java implementation, with all the classes to go with  
it...

Everything that runs on windows should run on ReactOS some day. No need
to port software or drivers...
