Hi all!
Let me invite you to the monthly status meeting taking place on Thursday, August 31, 19:00 UTC. As always, you will get credentials for our private IRC server shortly before the meeting.
Agenda proposals so far include: - Short report from my side regarding the Hackfest - Git/GitHub migration in September/October - Finalizing the 0.4.6 release, possibly planning 0.4.7
Please post any additional agenda proposals here.
Also don't forget that we're in the final week of GSoC :) Mentors, now that all code has been submitted, don't forget about evaluating your students!
See you on Thursday!
Colin
Credentials have been sent, please check your inboxes!
The current agenda and order I suggest:
1) Status reports Please prepare them now, so we don't waste any time! :) 2) Finalizing the 0.4.6 release 3) Reports from the Hackfest, in particular regarding: - Kaasimir GPU Testing Server (by Colin) - Applying the Licensing Best Practices (by Colin) - Advancements in USB Support (by Colin, probably with some more information from Thomas, who is working with Vadim) - Using PO files for translating ReactOS (by Mark) 4) Git/GitHub migration in September/October 5) Filling the vacant Release Manager position for a smoother 0.4.7 release. Possible talk about establishing new positions as well.
Especially the migration to Git will be a huge change for ReactOS, so I hope to see many of you in 2 hours!
Cheers,
Colin
