Hello! As for recent changes with SVN repository hosting, the active ReactOS repository now is being placed on svn://svn.reactos.ru/reactos. I thought it would be wise not to copy passwords from the old repository, so
All developers with commit access, please send me your exact matching svn commit name (though I can look it up easily of course ;-)) and a password you would like to use in the repository.
Right now there is only directory/files moving operations are going, without any features being added or deleted until the voting on files- locks in SVN for non-audited parts will be resolved. This doesn't touch modules which are clean apriori - like rbuild for example.
Thank you, Aleksey Bragin.
I checked it out. So now I could put a patch over my eye and a parrot on my shoulder while standing on a wooden leg?

lol, it's not *that* illegal. And you better put a patch in a bugzilla :-)
And sorry I didn't set it up to mail changes in a mailing list -- will do some time later.
But you can watch http://cia.navi.cx for commits to reactos project.
WBR, Aleksey Bragin.

Hey is there a mailing list with changes to this repository?

So is this now the official successor of the repository which was hosted by Casper Hornstrup? The mailing list should be changed to post the commits. Looking at the log in the repository there is currently going on a huge restructuring of the tree. We want to see this to see ReactOS is going to live again. ;-)
Another question: Will the changes in the audited repository (rbuild, explorer, weinefile, ...) automatically be merged into the current one, or will I have to do this myself?
Regards,
Martin

Hi.
I've decided not to host the ReactOS Subversion repository beyond March 31st 2006. That gives you up to ~6 weeks to find a new place to host it. I will send the repositories (both new and old) to the person who will host the repository in the future. Please contact me when you want this done.
P.S. Please CC me directly as I'm not subscribed to this list.

Yes, absolutely official.
I'd like to wait a little before asking GvG to change svn.reactos.org zone information, so that we can access old "audited" repository from Casper (he's hosting it till March, afaik).
I don't think automatic merge would be good, so it would be great if you could merge the changes yourself -- after checked-out reactos builds and installs fine for you.
As for mailing-list, I have to see how it's done, or if Casper would be kind enough to provide his script for mailing. I have setup CIA already though, so it's all in http://cia.navi.cx

Yes, there has been some _huge_ changes to the structure of the ReactOS tree. Around 200-300 commits in the past 2 days. Unfortunately it's almost done now, so the mailing list has missed everything :( Anyone who was accustomed to the old structure will see immediately notice the changes.
Ged.
The rss feed works for the new repository: http://cia.navi.cx/stats/project/ReactOS/.rss
