All I can say is that we currently have no access to the entire network
in our Sweden data center. It may be caused by a power or ISP outage,
but I'm just guessing here.

Anybody really knows what happened there ? (since it’s not the first time
this part of the infra fails like that). By the way I noticed that the
VMWare testbots (regular and hybrid) are still off.

* In December 2014, its motherboard failed. As a replacement one was
cheaply available, we didn't need more performance for its tasks and the
system was fully set up, it was decided to just order that one and
continue using the system. Unfortunately, replacing it took longer than
expected. It's now fully up and running again, but next time we will
definitely order a new server.

* Recently, we also had Fezile crashing several times due to a faulty
UPS it was connected to. This has been fixed in the meantime.

* The latest total power outage is of course not Fezile's fault, but
affected each and every server there. Nevertheless, those other servers
(e.g. additional Testbots) have basically been up every day of the year,
which I find quite reliable.


I'm open for every affordable idea to make this infrastructure more
reliable. I just personally don't think we can make better than Jan's
site, since it offers us total flexibility on what servers to install,
how to interconnect them, and the help of a definite ReactOS supporter
in case something fails.

I can only guess what happen at the datacenter
at moment in sweden we got big power shoutdown thanks to two diffnent
storms. and the stroms are still active most part of sweden.

The lower part of sweden and the land close to norwage allot datacenter and
house in thuse area does not have any power at all. the power company are
already in progress to repiar the damges power grids and power start coming
back slowy in thuse area.

I do not known where the reactos datacenter are locatated in sweden.

Thank you for all of your information J It’s nice that the power systems were able to
handle gracefully the power outages; and I can only understand it’s not the cause of the
infra now that the problem comes from, since it appears as you say that parts of Sweden is
out of electricity ^^.
