Hi all
Before anyone else slips this through (I kid, I kid!), I would like us to move to vote on a ReactOS Development Coordinator. Before we vote, anyone that wants to run, please step up.
The DC would really have the responsibility of facilitating developers. I don't know if we already have a page on this, but I would say this means helping other developers reach their potential in contributing to ReactOS through development. This also entails facilitating communication within the team and with other teams (testing, UI, translation). I'd like some discussion on this thread as to the role of the DC to prevent future confusion.
Regards Jason
Slightly off topic but... Shouldnt we at least try to fill KC before we make DC?

The Kernel Team is now known as the Development Team.

Hi, firstly it would be good to describe this role a little on the reactos wiki (role of kernel developer being its legacy most probably). To this also related an application team coordinator position (if it would ever exist in the future, and if it's needed at all, or maybe if such team still exists and Brian heads it)?
WBR, Aleksey Bragin.

After some thinking together with Magnus and valuing possible options, I would like to nominate the following man as candidate for the Development Coordinator position:
Herve Poussineau
WBR, Aleksey Bragin.

Based on the new rule on voting. We should first deside how to vote and how to assure all developers vote. If a developer past and present should not vote, will that be a no vote or a yes vote? We don't need to disrespect anyone.

Huh? If someone doesn't vote, he is not counted. Example: 30 people allowed to vote, 4 vote NO, 5 vote YES, other 21 don't vote. Outcome of the vote is YES, since more than half of the 9 valid votes were YES.

That's a unusual way to vote. I know non counted people, rather. Think of what happens, if we have 20 devs and 30 ex-devs and all ex-devs were couted to vode no. Nothing will ever happen!
