It is time to get automated tests made on real hardware up and running.
I have started a project to get ReactOS to run on a FUJITSU SIEMENS ESPRIMO E5925 (wich already installs and runs from CD and HDD) however, to get automated tests going we need to be able to script stuff and feed it with iso:s, this I have planned to do with Intel AMT / vPro technology. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Active_Management_Technology ).
The goal is to have all builds tested on real HW and to get ReactOS to be a usable system for real HW to be able to kill as many bugs as possible and make different HW setups to work. This will be unnecessary before we go beta in the future.
I have a bunch of debug lists from this actual HW, made and added links to them below, some of them are from the USB-trunk branch.

Ros should be able to do PXE boot, isn't that sufficient?
Hi there,
this is one thing where i can be useful :)
i have a Pentium I storing dust here, and i wonder i i could set it up for automated real hardware tests.....
yeah, i know its a too slow system, but.... more than nothing :)

To get a system that autimatically installs every build we need to be able to control on/off, reboot, boot-list and ability to boot from ISO, either by PXE (network boot) or IDE-R (redirected IDE (ability to boot from an ISO-file on the network)), to be able to test more then just install we need some sort of scripting possibility like SOL (Serial Over Ethernet)
I would encourage you to use regularly download the latest build from http://reactos.org/getbuilds/ and burn it to a CD-RW and hook your old computer to your newer with a serial cable and record your installation log on your new computer with a terminal program like RealTerm http://realterm.sourceforge.net/ and then post the results to someone willing to deal with it on the irc channel or on the ReactOS-Dev mailinglist. ________________________________________________ Jan Blomqvist Kinander (Jaix Bly) Tel: +46 472 269932, Fax: +46 472 260980 Cell: +46 704 283980, E-Mail: jan.blomqvist@reactos.org

This crash is consistent for ROS not finding cdroom. Is it sata or ide? how is it connected?
