I hope Hartmut made ReactOS work with *it*.

We don't have the liberty of patching every single NT driver that we 
will want to run on ROS :)

Sorry, should have been more clear. The changes made (as far as I can tell)
were to get the thing compile without warnings using MinGW. So it's more of
a port from MSVC to MinGW than a port from Windows to ReactOS.
