ReactOS' site uses a unified login for the forum, wiki, and site proper. If you want to register for an account, you need to do so from the main page.
Also, there is nothing wrong with asking such questions on the mailing list.

I've got all the way through the installer, to the main bootup, but I get either a BSOD or it just locks. Is there ACPI or other stuff that needs to be disabled for this to work?
