Installing ReactOS 0.2 RC2 on a 2-disk system with winme, Gentoo Linux and Mandrake Linux already installed

Hello,

I'm a GNU/Linux user and, unfortunately, also a windouze user... and I
like to use Free Software as soon as possible, so I tried ReactOS!

The installation was done successfully... but there are some points that 
I want to discuss...

1. I haven't access to the floppy drive! I think that I need to change 
some registry keys for the drive to be accessible... can you explain?

2. I haven't access to the CD-ROM drive too (Sony CD-RW CRX1611)

3. Are the Relatek-based NICs suported? and ADSL Routers attched to them?

4. Can I access my ext3 and ReiserFS partitions from ReactOS?


ReactOS is very slow! and is still having many BUGs and shows BSODs many 
times... In version 0.2 it is normal, but I think it will became more 
stable in the future...

It was disabled, because 'my computer' will crash if you enable it, and
have no floppy inserted.

There are some issues with some cd-drive. If you boot with the iso from
this cd drive, what happens?

It's becoming better each day :) (really, i test it almost each day :D )

Anywise, can you explain how to load drivers that are disabled by default?

Chances are you won't want to use it because at the moment it cannot 
detect media changes, so you would have to boot up with the floppy you 
want to access inserted, and then restart after you are done.

The ReactOS installation CD he means.

Well you can ping a ReactOS system, but thats it.

Thankfully this is all being worked on, and you can expect ReactOS to me 
more complete in future releases.

iso is the international sdandards organization. :-P
However, meant with this term is a CD or a CD image which is usually 
formatet as specified in iso9660, which is an iso standard.

I know what is an ISO! I was only asking him what iso was he refering to...

By changing it in the registry, i don't know the exact key though, and
afaik in the release you have to remake the registry, because there are
some problems using the registry in reactos.
