Hi,
I have an old 486 DX2 66Mhz computer with 32MB memory 261MB hard drive which I have unzipped the ros binaries onto, they are in C:\reactos. When I run ros it prints info to screen up to checking drive ' C: ok ', the drive light continues flashing away for about 15 to 20 seconds, then ros dies with no error message and falls back to bios. No initialization screen is ever shown.

Just a small request, after having to endure Microsoft's attempts to make
everything "mine".
Can we PLEASE not mirror Microsoft's:
- My Computer
- My Network Places
- My Documents
- My Pictures
- My Music
and so on.
Can we at least have "The Computer" "Network" "Documents" etc. instead?
Something a little less selfish-sounding please!
May seem like a stupid request, but I have spent a long time tweaking
Windows to stop it from reminding me that my files are, in fact, my files,
along with anything anyone else in my family save on my computer.
So, erm, can we get rid of all this "me me me", or at least make it
optional?

Today I have tried to run a browser called offbyone by selecting the programme from, ' Start ' , ' Run... ',
then clearing existing path and programme name(*see note below) from the strip window, then clicked ' Browse... ' ,
in browse strip window, I typed in the name ob1.exe and clicked on ' Open ' then ros crashed with the following error messages:

Please note: that in the ' Run... ' window the same programme was listed,
but with a different drive path.

Ros crashed in a similar circumstance to the above, but this
time I clicked on the cancel button (no previous programme had been run this way),
also ros was running on a different computer.

Has anyone done a UK English translation of ReactOS yet? As I'm from the UK,
I'd prefer to see things like "colour" instead of "color", etc. and
obviously things like currency, etc. will need to be handled.

Today I have tried to run a browser called OffByOne, with good results, the browser displayed perfectly. The menus don' t work yet and ros is without a fully working tcp/ip, but when ros is a little more mature, this could be the first browser to work.
I have encountered a problem that is common with other programmes, this is, that the window gets mixed up with the one underneath. I cannot show you a screen shot, because I run ros in real hardware. But I have made an html page which shows what the problem is. The page looks ok on a 14" monitor at 1024x768. I have left out a lot of detail, but it is a good likeness.

No, I think, it have something serverside to do.
There existing times, where I can see the Navigation of the Knowledge-sides
and if I reload it, it isn't any more there.
But looking in the HTML-sources show, that it first exist, and after
reloading no longer in the HTML-side exist. And sometimes later after
reloading it is alrady there.
So its not a Browser- or Client-problem, it's a server-problem.
