cannot boot cdrom svn real/qemu

Hallo, I have found a problem. SVN-version cannot boot from cdrom on real HW and Qemu (?!), but on 1 of 2 systems only. ros-3.11 works on 2 of 2 systems (real,qemu) s. details Whats going wrong? maybe a conflict with any HW. Hallo, Yes, ROS is alpha. my recommendation: - please remove 3.11 from [1] causes: 1. Error opening freeldr.ini or file not found. - if boot from hda after install from cdrom - problem only if ! (hd0,1) (example: sda3) - workaround: replacing freeloader.sys from ReactOS 0.3.10 2. repository opendn.org offline (domain parking) - s. [2] - new: svn.reactos.org, but impossible to config in rapps.exe!! - workaround: wget rappmgr.cab An interested testuser will try to install a software at firsttime. Please set up capturing of debug logs, as described on our wiki. Without those no one would have any idea what is going on with your install. Trouble with ROS on VirtualBox (OS X host)

I'm having trouble running Reactos 0.3.11 on VirtualBox (on an OSX host). The splash screen is fine, but when the desktop appears the colours go all crazy. Looks like this happens when some kind of background/desktop image is being displayed. Also, when the mouse is moved over icons (e.g. MyComputer), the icons get smudged. I have tried using VB 3.1.6, 3.18 and 3.2.0 but they all do the same thing. Anyone else seen similar issues ?? I did have it working once (on VB 3.1.6 I think) for a short while, but as soon as I installed the guest additions things when belly up. So, any tips or hints on how to get ROS working smoothly on VirtualBox ?? Are there any settings that I should definitely set or unset ?? Thanks, Brendan.

howto set proxy rapps

Hallo, 1. Howto set proxy on rapps.exe? PC cannot connect to internet directly. (NAT: n/a) plan: ros ----- proxy(squid) ---- R ---- WAN - following test does not work: set http_proxy=http://proxy:3128/ rapps variable http_proxy seen to be ignored.
