home and inside it the favourites of video, music, web pages, contacts
and more, with graphics all in a simple window?

Hi all,
ReactOS wiki (http://www.reactos.org/wiki/Transfer_files_from_the_host_OS_to_the_virtual_…) says there is VDK which can mount qemu disk on windows. However, the link address is unavailable. Could you tell me where can I find it? Or is there any similar software which can mount qemu disk on windows?

Hi all,
Even if it has already been reported through the newsletter, here is the
announcement for mailing list readers: The ReactOS Project will have a
booth at the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage 2011, the second-largest
Open-Source-related exhibition in Germany, from 19th to 20th March.
Our project is going to be represented by the ReactOS developers Colin
Finck, Timo Kreuzer, Matthias Kupfer, Daniel Reimer and Christoph von
Wittich. This year, we will also be joined by Kai Tietz from the
MinGW-w64 Project.
Like in the last years, you will be able to try out the latest
development state of ReactOS as well as getting some merchandising articles.
So if you have the time to visit Chemnitz, stop by and say hello at our
booth.
Cheers,
Colin
I once again tried to install ReactOS via grub4dos starting from a win98 setup.
grub4dos successfully runs Puppy Linux.frugal install.
Previously, i was on a scsi system. This time it's all ide.
Install hangs after ndis.sys line. I tried the atapi.sys -> uniata.sys patch.
No difference.
I'm using grub4dos version 0.4.4
Is the win98 mbr going thru io.sys the problem?
How does anyone else do a cdless install that includes windows?
map.lst entry:
map --mem (hd0,0)/ReactOS-LiveCD.iso (hd32)
map --hook
chainloader (hd32)

Hi all,
After Christoph has made first progress in November, I've set up IPv6
support on some of our servers today.
Apart from some services for ReactOS internal use, the following
publicly available services should be accessible using IPv6 now:
download.reactos.orggit.reactos.orgsource.reactos.orgsvn.reactos.org
The BuildBot will be added as soon as we do the upgrade. Unfortunately,
the actual website requires many more code changes for which I currently
don't have any time.
If you already connect through IPv6 and use some of the services listed
above, please report any problems you encounter.
I know that many popular sites refrain from enabling IPv6 support due to
rare access problems, but you seldomly get a reproducible problem
description.
Cheers,
Colin
Hi all,
I'm travelling back to Russia now, and gonna be available in about 2 days. I really expect trunk to be bootable by that time one way or another. If it doesn't, hard measures will follow (yeah, your guess is right: let's fix it).
WBR,
Aleksey.
