install ReactOS on vmware

Hi,
I am new to ReactOS. I have vmware workstation on Fedora 4, have win98 and
winXP work well as guest PC. I want to install ROS on vmware as the third
guest OS. I downloaded the INSTALL CD and Live CD. The live CD seems boot
ok. butI can't make  the installation CD work. When I boot from the
installation CD on this vmware, it just hang there forever.

if  you have experienece on this isntallaltion, ReactOS on Vmware that is
based on Linux operation, please share with me.

At what stage of installation error occured? What messages you got?

What versions of vmware and Reactos installation ISO you use?
I'm successfully testing ReactOS on vmware 4 for linux.

I am using FC4 (kernel 2.6.15-1.1833_FC4), the vmware is vmware workstation
4.5.2. I created a virtual mechine (chose Other) and set boot sequence as
CD, floppy, HHD. when I click on 'start  the new virtual mechine'.  is pops
pup a message 'enter any key to boot from CD'. there was not response when
hit a key. just hang there for hours. I had to power off it.
I downlowded the install cd at
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/reactos/reactos0.2.9-REL-iso.zip?download
This cd iso is right after mount
as
mount -t iso9660 -o loop=/dev/loop1 reactos0.2.9-REL-iso /mnt/CD or burnt
it  on CD and mounted.

if possible, clould you briefly highlight your steps, that may give me some
hints.

Sorry for late answer. My installation: ASPLinux 9 (RedHat9-based 
distribution) and vmware 4.0.0. I not think that there is great 
differencies between 4.0.0 and 4.2.5...

I'm using 'Windows NT' virtual machine type, 128 MB RAM for VM, and say 
vmware use downloaded ReactOS ISO as "CD-ROM (IDE 0:0)".

It's strange... after pressing 'any key' NT-like blue installation 
screen must appear...
