I would like to know if my reporting of error messages is useful, or am I just clogging up the list?
Regards, jh
Hi, No, every report gets read. I've noticed over the years here, that it runs slow and sometimes, things get lost. However, we now have a list log, so, some of us can go and check for bugs that have been reported. Every piece of information does help.
Thanks, James

Generally the bugs are not easily reproducible. If a developer who has the knowledge to fix the problem need to spend an hour or more just setting up some program on his ReactOS installation then he- probably will not fix the problem. If there was a simple test that reproduced the problem every time, then the developer would probably be much more willing to fix the problem. Non-developers cannot do this, but Win32 developers with little ReactOS experience should be able to create a test in many cases. For the non-developers, we should at least make it easier to send in bug reports that contains symbolic information.
