The only way to know for sure is trying it, but have in mind that reactos is in alpha development state, so probably half the windows functions are not coded yet, if your program needs one not yet coded it could hang, not start or just show some minor bug.
The same in spanish:
La unica forma de saberlo es probandolo, pero ten en cuenta que ReactOs es todavia software alpha, así que aproximadamente la mitad de las funciones de windows no estan implementadas, si tu programa necesita alguna que todavia no este implementada podría colgarse, no empezar o simplemente mostrar algun error sin importancia.

first of all, thx for your reply. i think i'll just try it out just one comment: you don't need to translate your posts to spanish ;)
Maybe you could use another BASIC-Language. There are pretty many of them out there, some good, some bad. But the most don't need runtime-files. They create real Win32-Apps.
Regards

hi daniel, the problem is that i'm not writing the thing from scratch, and this app is *very* activeX dependant (actually, more than the 60% of the code is on those ocx :P). as you said, i could try to port it to a less system-dependant basic, but it would require *major* rewrite, and i don't have the time nor the patience to do it.
thanks and happy coding!
Ah, OK ;)
(always hated OCXes for that reason *grin*)

Hi VB version 6.0 and down need some other dll also to get working in reactos. Dotnet framewrok from go-mono or dotgnu.net I have not test it yet in reactos to see if it works.
My tip to you are get all dll you need shuch vb runtine and gdi++ (if you need it) and try see if the program are working with native dll. Formnet reactos does not support VB program. Maby it works with microsoft dll files in reactos. try and see.
