Install on Dell GX270/280/ older hardware

Hello,

I've tried to install both the 0.3.15 as well as the latest snapshot version of ReactOS on a few 
different machines here.  I've got all the way through the installer, to the main bootup, but I get 
either a BSOD or it just locks.  Is there ACPI or other stuff that needs to be disabled for this to 
work?  I'd really like to try this.  A pointer to a webpage with suggestions would be fine.

I did not see any way to post on the forum, as it requires an account, and I cannot seem to find

ReactOS' site uses a unified login for the forum, wiki, and site proper. If you want to register for an account, you need to do so from the main page.

Also, there is nothing wrong with asking such questions on the mailing list.

Thanks, I have signed up.  However, there must be others like me who have faced the same issue, and 
would benefit by the answer in the archives. :-)  So does anyone have a suggestion or a link for a
