Hi there, I downlaoded and installed rc1 on my win98 machines C: drive 
(it's an act of faith). hooray, finally a vesa driver that gives 
1024x768x256 on an ati rage fury cheapo thing. However choosing win98 
from the freeloader menu gave a scary error, I had to boot from floppy 
and do "sys c:" and "fdisk /mbr" to get back into windows. this might 
scare the casual user a bit (it scared me!) but hey, great work guys, 
keep it up

Anyone unsure or concerned about losing data should be using the live-cd
