test bootcd-47265-dbg.iso on qemu -> ServFail (s. above)
suggestion: - rapps required fqdn
test: - cat firefox2.txt.old | sed "s%194.71.11.70%ftp.sunet.se%" > firefox2.txt -> works
- notes: - 194.71.11.70 has no fqdn - 194.71.11.69 ftp.sunet.se - http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/www redirto: http://194.71.11.70/pub/www/
summary: - problem is not depended on version, but repository
regards Heiko
The problem is that the download links get invalid faster than we can update them ;-)

I think Gabriel should be given commit access in the hope he could keep on top of areas like this. It's the testers who highlight this stuff, they shouldn't have to rely on devs to fix it.

We could also use static links: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/win32/... instead of links for ftp users searching for the latest version.

Afaik rapps can't handle them, as they are redirecting to the actual source, so someone would need to add support for this in rapps.
It has it's own HTTP implementation? Seriously? Can't we just use libcurl: It's well accomplished at this kind of thing!
