ROS from 2004 Oct won't see my USB stuff (KB & mouse)

Do the newer versions of ROS work with keyboards and mice that are USB?  
If not, what future version is targeted to have that?

3.0.0 is many years away.

As for USB, I very much doubt it will be functional by 0.3. A lot of 
ground work has been done, but I think it will be somewhere between 0.3 
and 0.4 before USB mice and keyboards work.

Thank you for that info.  However, I'm not sure that I want to wait 
*that* long.  The version right now is what?  v0.2.6?  3.0.0 seems like 
an awfully long wait.  (I hope that was a typo.  What you really meant 
was v0.3.0, yes?)

I'm sorry, but I think it was no typo. At least it wil not be 0.3 AFAICE 
(as far as I can estimate)

I really doubt it is THAT far away. It probably will not be 0.3, but it 
really should not be too much further away. If you take a look at the 
0.3 changelog <http://reactos.com/wiki/index.php/ChangeLog-0.3.0#USB> 
you will see that USB is mentioned. It looks like much of it has been 
put in, but is not working as of yet. Perhaps it could be working by 
0.3.5. It is of note that USB does not seem to be mentioned in any of 
the plans for any later releases.

Hi
ReactOS does not support USB device and which version of reactos that
will support USB are hard to say. Aleasky and some other are working on USB
support for reactos.
