Hi,
For those who wish to interact with my contribution (this is the one
that as been put forward for the vote), you can find it here
http://www.mrnobody.uklinux.net/private/reactos.html
There are also two other similar pages here (same page with some minor
changes)
http://www.mrnobody.uklinux.net/private/notables_a.htmlhttp://www.mrnobody.uklinux.net/private/notables_b.html
They have all been made without the use of any layout tables and they
pass the W3C colour contrast standard.
They have all been tested at 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768, with large
text, with small text, reduced browser window and they all scale very well.
If you reduce the browser window at 1024x768 there will not be a
bottom scroll bar until the window is very small.
Regards,
jh

Most reactos.com services should be available again. The forum is still
offline. Mailing lists, main website, wiki and bugzilla are functional
again.
It might take a little while for the DNS changes to trickle down the system,
so if it doesn't work for you yet just try again in half a day or so.

Wouldn't it be good to forward web-users to http://reactosde.re.funpic.de ?
or at least put a link for those wanting to go on with something?
Yours sincerely,

Hi,
ReactOS could get a free booth in SYSTEM-2005 expo in Munchen, which
is going to take place in October.
I don't know for sure if I go myself, but please, if you think you
can go - please drop me an email, and I will submit a registration
request to them.

WBR,
Aleksey.
There are pretty strong indications that the reactos.com box was cracked. It
took part in a DDoS attack. As a consequence, it was isolated from the
network. Unfortunately, I'm on vacation right now so I don't have physical
access to the box and am unable to fix/reinstall.
For the moment, I've moved the mailing lists to a backup box. I am not
moving the website, since it seems the attack was carried out via the
website (a vulnerability in one of the php script packages we use). I'll put
up a dummy page informing visitors.
Not sure how far along the release of 0.2.7 is, but I'd like to suggest to
put it off for at least another week, until I'm back and can sort things
out.
Apologies for the inconvenience, Ge van Geldorp.
Hello everyone who is trying to connect to the ReactOS homepage, I can give you some information about the homepage. First, the webbox where the site is hosted on is down by an unknown reason, GvG who has physical access to it is on vacation in France (the box is in the Netherlands) and he recieved a mail from the security department on the university that host the box, it seams to be some sort of serious problem with it, they are supposed to have tried to restart the webbox.
We will probably not se the ROS site up until GvG comes home from his vacation. This information we obtained from GvG this morning (050722), it may change, but til then be patient, sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours sincerely,
Jaix Bly
There are strong indications that the reactos.com box got cracked.
Unfortunately, I'm on vacation right now and unable to fix things. Since it
is causing problems on the network it will be isolated, meaning no network
traffic in or out. This will mean the website will go down and the mailing
lists will become inactive.
I'm sorry about this, but there is not much I can do for the next week.
Ge van Geldorp.
